Abstract: Since the experimental discovery that our universe has a positive cosmological constant, constructing well-controlled de Sitter vacua of string theory has been a key task facing string phenomenology. Twenty years ago, Kachru, Kallosh, Linde, and Trivedi (KKLT) proposed a scenario in which such vacua could be obtained, but concrete implementations of KKLT have remained elusive. In this talk, based on https://arxiv.org/abs/2406.13751, I will present five flux compactifications which provide, at leading order in the $g_s$ and $alpha'$ expansions, thirty metastable de Sitter vacua of the form envisioned by KKLT. I will also comment on corrections to, and the validity of, the EFT used to construct these vacua.
