-- Abstract: Many of our most fundamental questions and puzzles in particle physics are tied to the Higgs boson, and the ability to probe nature at the shortest distances. Nevertheless, the tools to attack these experimentally haven’t qualitatively changed for decades. I will review recent efforts to change this paradigm with lepton colliders, more specifically a muon collider. This includes advances in accelerator, detector and theoretical efforts. In particular I will demonstrate with a number of examples from Higgs physics, dark matter, and beyond, that a muon collider may provide the fastest greenest path to the energy frontier with the largest reach. Furthermore a fully leptonic path with an e+e- Higgs factory, followed by a high energy muon collider provides a strong complementary vision for the future of particle physics.
