I will survey what we know, and what we don’t know (but would like to know). I will show how the Large Hadron Collider is performing novel tests of the Standard Model, and how precision measurements at high energies may reveal new physics beyond the Standard Model. I will also talk about theories for dark matter beyond the Weakly Interacting Massive Particle, and how they can be tested experimentally. Finally, I will highlight how the low energy frontier of the Cosmic Microwave Background can probe new particle physics. | 25 HEP Journal Club (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM) |
