| I am interested in conformal field theory (CFT) with applications to holography and condensed matter physics. Most of the work I have done so far has focused on situations in a CFT where conformal symmetry is partially broken. This may happen when there are extended operators like boundaries and defects in the theory, or if we are in an excited state instead of the vacuum: for instance in a thermal state or a state with a nonzero charge. | |
